Klara Gorges

Klara is a placement student in the Environmental Psychology group where she closely works with Anja Heske on her PhD project. After studying at Drexel University in Philadelphia, USA, she joined the University of Vienna for her bachelor’s degree and now pursues her master’s degree. In her bachelor’s thesis she focused on the relationship between growing up in cities, rural areas, or suburban areas and stress, anxiety, nature connectedness, and nature exposure today. She is interested in how psychology plays a role in human pro-environmental behavior and how climate change can affect our mental health.
